Christmas 2011

We were planning on spending Christmas eve and Christmas morning in Belle. Before we could even think about making the 2 1/2 hour trip, Hayes had to get a bigger car seat. Merry Christmas baby boy, your first Christmas present! Unfortunately, he wasn't feeling very well during Christmas and threw up all over his new seat shortly after this picture.

We made it to Belle for Christmas with the Spurgeon's. I love how Tate really thought he was helping Travis carry the big present.

Giving presents to great grandpa and grandma...

Mom's tree Christmas morning...

Hayes getting ready to open presents...

A little help from Daddy. Tate thought there should be a dump truck inside in every present.

Hayes didn't really care about what was inside the present. He just wanted to chew on the paper. He was very excited that the whole house was awake bright and early to play.

Hayes' got so many fun gifts from Belle:

Trash truck from Travis and Laura:

His first train set from Grandma and Jim:

We love this one, Travis has one just like it.

Tate's Christmas toys from Belle:

We certainly don't have a shortage of Brio trains at our house! Tate's new set from Travis:

We came straight home to set up the track:

We have been playing with it non stop!

Santa came to our house Christmas night and we opened presents Monday morning. It was a little crazy opening presents. Both boys were still sick and crabby. It took several hours for them to open 3 presents each. We opened and played...opened and played...

Even though Santa brought the dump truck to Hayes, Tate was quite pleased that their was a dump truck in at least 1 of the presents.

Hayes' steam roller...

Baking cookies with Daddy...

Tate loves this cookie set!

Santa added to Tate's Plan City with this parking garage:

He LOVES it!

Just having fun, taking a break from the present madness...

He studied this box for a long time...

Hayes couldn't wait to get down and play too!

Monday night we had Christmas with the McWilliams family.
